Liam and Zena orgasm at the same time, letting out a loud final moan. Liam climbed off of Zena to lay next to her. He rubbed his hand up and down her body, as he admired her. Zena closed her eyes and took in deep breaths. When she opened them, she saw Liam smiling at her. It was clear on their faces that what Zena and Liam did was maybe the best sex they had ever had in both of their lives.

Staring at each other, neither of them said a word. Liam kissed Zena on the lips, then on the forehead, holding her close to his sweaty body. Zena was the first one to drift off to sleep. Liam stayed awake and watched her rest for a while. He petted her hair, as he went deep into thought.

“I know we haven’t known each other long,” Liam whispered. “But I promise that I will protect you and stay by your side if you let me. I want to take away all your pain and never let you feel lonely ever again.”

Liam tucked Zena in with a blanket and drifted off to sleep, as he cuddled with her. Without Liam noticing, Zena’s body let out a small spark of magic. Just outside the door was Yuri, who watched the whole thing. His face bore no emotions, as there was no way of knowing what was going on in his mind. Quietly, Yuri walked from the door and left out of the hotel suite.

  Chapter 6

The next morning, Zena woke up alone in bed. Her body felt like a boulder had smashed her, while the veins in her head throb roughly. Her lower body was slightly sore and stiff. The hungover woman looked around, trying to piece together her whole night. Her memories crashed back to her from when she almost had sex with Que down to her having sex with Liam. Which was the best thing she had ever experienced with anyone? Zena knew if she ever had sex with a different guy, it wouldn’t even compare to what Liam had done to her. Sex might never be the same.

With every ounce of energy she had, Zena dragged her butt out of bed, though she would have liked to go back to sleep. When she looked at the clock, she knew she needed to get ready to leave soon. She had important things to do and possibly say her goodbyes to Que. Once she leaves, Zena will be homeless, stuck in Vegas with nowhere to go. She didn’t want to mention her money struggles with anyone. The woman had too much pride to ask people who she just met for money, and she damn well wasn’t going to call her family and asked them for help. She had to look for some jobs and save up to get back on the road again. It might take her weeks or a couple of months, but she would manage somehow.

Zena nearly moaned to what might be the last hot shower she would ever have and savored the moment, but not for too long. She had to call the auto shop and get her car fixed before it was too late. Perhaps she could stay with Que just for one night before she had to part ways. Zena finally got out of the shower and grabbed a robe to wear. She didn’t have anything to wear due to Liam ripping off her clothes. What’s left of her costume was in Yuri’s room, maybe. She didn’t even dare to go in there.

Mumbling under her breath, Zena walked out of Liam’s room and scouted the area to see if Liam was waiting for her to wake up. To her dismay, he wasn’t there. The only person that was in the room was Yuri, and he didn’t look welcoming or in a good mood. It took everything in her not to slam the door and wait for Liam to return. Aggravatingly, she had no idea where her cell phone was, so he had no choice but to leave the room so she could find it and go.

“Where did Liam go?” Zena asked Yuri.

“He had some stuff to do. He said he would be back as soon as he can,” Yuri's voice had no emotion. It was like he was putting up a wall. When he looked over at Zena, he stared at her blankly as he threw something to her. “Here take this. It will help you feel better.”

Zena caught a small little bottle. She looked at it and saw that it was painkillers. She gave Yuri an awkward thanks, as she walked to the kitchen to get something to wash down the painkillers. She grabbed a glass cup from the counter and poured herself orange juice that was in a glass container. Once she finished pouring the juice, she returned the container to the fridge.

“Where is your vehicle located?” Yuri bluntly asked as he walked into the kitchen.

Gripping onto her cup as she tried not to drop it, Zena jumped back from Yuri’s sudden appearance. Then again, the kitchen didn’t have much of a wall, so technically, they were still in the same room. “Why do you need to know where my jeep is?” she asked in a suspicious tone.

“Because I’m going to have someone go pick it up and take it to my mechanic to fix it,” Yuri bluntly spoke again.

“Wait, what?” Zena's eyes went wide, as her mouth scrunched to the side. Yuri seemed like he was loaded with money, so whoever he uses to fix her vehicles would cost a fortune. She just wanted something simple done and possibly find some old used parts to fix it. “No, you don’t have to do that. Full disclosure, I don’t have a lot of money. I won’t be able to afford to pay you back for the repairs.”

“Well, from what you told me about yourself, I can already tell that you don’t have much money.” Yuri rolled his eyes. “Don’t worry about the cost. I will pay for everything, and don’t bother worrying about paying me back.”

“Hold up a minute.” Zena’s tone almost got deep. “Thank you for the kind gesture, but I don’t need your help. I can handle this myself.”

“You’re going to be pretty much homeless and go without eating from the repairs, right?”

Zena bit her lip; she didn’t want to admit to Yuri how he was right. “I would be a little short on money, but I will be able to manage.”

Yuri smirked slyly from her lie. It was so small that Zena didn’t even notice the change in his facial expression, but her stubbornness quickly got him irritated and frustrated. “Stop lying and tell the truth! You are already technically homeless! You’re just living from hotel to hotel and camping out in the woods to save some money!” His voice became loud and deep as he crossed his arms around his broad chest.

Seeing red from Yuri not taking no for an answer, she lost her temper. “I am no charity case! I don’t need your money! I don’t want to have to owe anyone money or repay them for helping me!”

Feeding on her temper and stubbornness, Yuri began to lose his temper as well. “I know you’re not a charity case! And I’m not taking pity on you. I’m doing it because you are in trouble and need help! I’m doing this because I want to! How about you be grateful for my kindness and stop trying to be so prideful? I’m paying for your car to get fixed, and that’s final!”

“Who the fuck do you think you are, trying to order me around? I said I don’t want your fucking money! You don’t fucking own me! I don’t know what women you’ve been with, but I’m not the one you should fucking piss the hell off. I’m not going to bow down and kiss your fucking feet just because you have money! Go try that with some other fucking skank!”

Yuri smashed his hands on the fridge, glaring down at Zena. The shattering of glass filled the room, as Yuri and Zena glared furiously at each other. Zena's hands gripped tightly on both edges of the fridge. Her chest pushed in and out while she breathed through her nose. She felt Yuri's breath brushing against her skin. Broken glass laid on the floor with a puddle of orange juice spreading rapidly. The only thing either of them could hear was their heavy breathing, as they glowered at each other.

“Hey, Yuri, I’m back. Is she awake yet?” Walking into the door, Liam sounded cheerful. “Hey, where-” He paused when he walked further into the suite and saw Yuri hanging over Zena as they both looked like they were in a heated argument. He noticed there was glass all over the kitchen floor. “Whoa, what happened here?”

Yuri and Zena looked at Liam, “Nothing,” they answered at the same time.

Zena looked around for something to clean up the mess. Not wanting her to get cut by glass, Yuri picked Zena up and swung her in Liam’s direction. Zena glared back at Yuri as she watched him clean up the mess. Huffing in irritation, she turned and walked back to the living room.

Liam’s mouth dropped as he was confused and concerned. He never saw Yuri get angry and frustrated before because of anot
her person. He could tell whatever happened with both of them; they got into a heated fight, which Yuri wasn’t the type of person who loses his cool in many situations.

Zena looked around for her things. “Have you seen my phone and wallet?” She asked Liam.

“No, I have not,” Liam walked up to Zena and wrapped his arms around her. He turned her around so she could look at him. “Hey there, keep the heid!” he repeated so she could understand what he said to her, “Jus’ calm down and take a breather.”

“Don’t tell me to calm down!” Zena pushed back from Liam and continued to look for her stuff. Not caring anymore, she kicked in Yuri’s bedroom door to look for her things. None of it was nowhere to be found. “Fuck it!” She swung her hands in the air in defeat. If she needed to use money or do other things, she had different ways to get her money and make calls. The only issue she would have was that the tow truck driver had texted the number of the place he had dropped off her vehicle to her lost phone. She would have to try to find the location of the place the hard way.

“Hmm, I got some clothes for you to wear,” Liam said cautiously, trying not to get Zena to explode at him as well. “I didn’t know what size you wear, so I guessed and got different sizes.”

“Thank you,” Zena grabbed the bag and picked out a large t-shirt and sweatpants. She marched into Liam’s room to dress quickly. She walked out, ready to leave, not caring that she didn’t have shoes to wear. “I got stuff to do before it’s too late, and I need to get back to Que to let her know I’m ok. If you find my stuff, can you call her and send it her way, please.”

“Now jus’ haud on! Liam grabbed on to Zena with a concerned look. “I know you’re pretty angry, but please let me at least take you to Que or pay for an uber to take you. Also, you don’t have any shoes or phone to contact anyone.”

“No, thank you,” Zena yanked her arm away from Liam. “I can walk there, and being barefooted won’t kill me.” She paused for a bit. “I had a good time with you, Liam. I’m sorry I couldn’t stay longer. When you find my phone, give me your number so we can stay in touch and meet up again, ok?”

Zena stormed to the door in haste. Before her hand could touch the doorknob, her body was to the wall. When she looked up, she was being trapped once again by Yuri. His cold, lifeless eyes glared into hers. Both stared at each other once again with unpleasant looks on their faces.

Finally, Yuri was the first to say something. “Don’t go,” Yuri demanded. Not ask but demanded her not to leave. “At least let Liam take you back to Que.”

Yuri’s demands, made Zena slap him in the face. “Don’t fucking tell me what to do!” She screeched, forgetting she hurt her hand when she punched Yuri in the face last night. It was easy to forget the pain and swelling when someone is drunk or not thinking about it. She swore at the top of her lungs as she shook her hand, opening the door as she walked out of the room.

Liam watched everything dumbfoundedly. “What the fuck did you say to her to make her so angry?!”

Yuri punched the wall as he looked at Liam. “She refused for me to help her get her vehicle fixed. No matter how many times I told her that she didn’t have to do anything to repay me, she refused even to have a second thought about it. I’ve never seen someone so stubborn in my 335 years of living.” Yuri tried to calm down. “I don’t care if she doesn’t like it. I’m going to do it.”

Liam couldn’t help but have a massive grin on his face as he could tell there was something about Zena that sparked something in Yuri. He saw something in both of them that they didn’t realize themselves. If things worked out well, Liam could see the three of them having something extraordinary with one another. It was all up to Zena to glue the pieces together.

Yuri suddenly appeared in front of Liam and bit him on the neck roughly.

“OUCH, what the fuck’ en hell YU!” Liam yelled. “What the hell was that for!?”

Not saying anything, Yuri forcefully kicked Liam into the bedroom, stripped him naked, and had his way with him.

  *******

It was a long walk to Que’s hotel. The sunrays burned into Zena’s skin, as she walked down the strip to where she needed to go, which she didn’t realize that the strip was so long. From a distance, things didn’t look far and not much of a long walk, but the young woman’s judgment was wrong. As she walked, buildings began to spread out wide and long. It took a while to pass up just one hotel-casino. Annoyingly, Zena had to weave her way in and out of people who were not paying attention to where they were going. To add to it, people would randomly stop to take pictures or watch the street performers in the middle of the sidewalk, which got infuriating fast.

Zena's feet started to blister and sore. It didn’t make things better that she was walking in her bare feet on warm concrete. Midway, Zena forced herself to take a break to regain her energy to continue. Her hand and feet were killing her. She had taken pain pills, but it wasn’t enough to help with the pain she was having. When she sat on a nearby bench, she felt something in her pocket. Her mouth dropped when she pulled whatever it was out.

When she wasn’t paying attention, Yuri slipped money and his card into her pocket, and it was a generous amount of money.

“The fuck!” Zena gawked at the money confused, as her blood began to boil. She had made it clear that she didn’t want a penny from him, yet he still pushed it on her. She examined the card, as it read Zuila Investment and Stocks. Her mouth dropped when she saw Yuri’s company name, and all the other writing, CEO and Chairman! She had seen billboards on the road for Zuila and some of the buildings in her hometown. “What the fuck did you get yourself into Zena Marie Danvad!!!”

Zena just found out how wealthy Yuri was. She saw enough movies, knowing what happens when people pissed off the rich. They had so much money that they could do things to make people vanish. She then realized she didn’t give a crap. Let him do what he wanted. After telling him to fuck off with his money, she wanted to never see him again.

Sticking her nose in the air, Zena ripped the business card. As she shredded the paper into pieces, she searched her surroundings and saw a homeless man sitting on the ground, begging for money. Painfully, she stood to her feet and walked to the man with Yuri’s money in her hand. When she got close, she threw the cash into the man’s cup and continued her way to where she needed to go.

The homeless man’s mouth dropped as he saw the amount of money in his cup. He jumped to his feet and shouted, God, bless her and her kindness.

Zena shouted as she rolled her eyes. “There is no fucking god! And even if there is, it’s more than one! Also, news flash, they don’t give a shit about us! If you want to thank someone, thank Yuri fucking Zuila!”

People looked at Zena with confused looks on their faces as they walked. They went back to their lives after they brushed off Zena’s outburst.

Finally, Zena reached the hotel where Que was staying. Her legs felt like they had weights weighing her down. She wanted to fall over and rest. She found the nearest chair with a hotel service phone and called Que’s room to ask if she could come down and help her up to the room.

Que rushed down to the lobby. “Why don’t you have shoes on? You look like a mess! Did you walk all the way here!? Where were you?” She was nearly out of breath, as she asked Zena a million questions.

“I’m sorry to leave and not tell you where I was going. I had some shit go down, and suddenly, I was taken to some guys’ room who I met at the party. They said that they know you.”

“Yeah, I know who you’re talking about, Yuri and Liam, right?”

  “Yeah.”

“I’ve known them for years. They are family friends. I would have thought Yuri or Liam would tell me something. I told Yuri last night I was looking for you. All he told me was not to worry about it, but Yuri was acting irregularly.”

Zena didn’t have a pleasant look on her face. “Well, I was with them last night. I would have called you myself, but I couldn’t
find my phone and wallet. I didn’t want to stay in Yuri’s presence any longer. Liam is charming and nice, but Yuri.” She had a grumpy look on her face.

“Yeah, Yuri can sometimes…” Que paused. “Yuri can sometimes do stuff that is right but ends up doing it the wrong way. He also doesn’t do it pleasantly. He’s still a terrific guy once you get to know him. He’s just cold and not very emotional.”

“More like a fucking control freak, he thinks people should just bow down and listen to what he has to say. Also, he’s fucking arrogant!”

“Oh, come on, he’s not that bad of a person.”

“I don’t care if he can make world peace. I don’t ever want to see that man again!”

Que bit her lip, as she felt there was a chance are, she probably would. “Here, let me help you to the spa. They can work wonders to make your feet better.”

“No, I really can’t. I got some stuff to do, and I need to access the internet. My car is at a shop. I want to try to get it fixed and let them know it's sitting on their lot before they decide to tow it off.”

“It will only take about twenty minutes. You will need the energy if you want to be able to keep standing. Also, I suggest you should rest a little afterward. Once you are rested, I’ll help you find your vehicle. Your feet will thank you later if you try to give them some time to recover a little.”

Que helped Zena to the spa and let the workers work on her feet and legs. As Zena was getting pampered, she looked at her hand, which was now throbbing. She had a look that screamed, ‘Can this day get any worse?’

Que looked over at Zena and noticed her wounded hand. “Oh my god! What happened to your hand? We should go have it looked at!”

“I punched Yuri in the face.”

Que looked surprised. “You punched Yuri…In the face?’

“I did it because he came out of nowhere and startled me, so I started swinging, and I sucker-punched him. Then this morning, I slapped him in the face, forgetting that I bruised my hand.” Zena painfully moved her hand to see if she could. “Well, it’s not broken, at least. I just need some ice and to wrap it.”
